REPORT INTERNATIONAL GRAIN ROUND, GELENDZHIK, RUSSIA

The Russian Grain Union held from 4^th to 7^th June 2013 the 14^th International Ground in Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Territory. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Tariffs, the Committee on Agrarian Issues of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Administration of Krasnodar Region, the Agro-industrial Union of Kuban.

Among other discussed topics, the 800 participants focused their attention on problems of state legislative and regulation issues of the functioning of the grain market, production forecasts, dynamics of the price and grain market situation, use of new grain production, processing and storage technologies, grain market transport and financial infrastructure development. 

This was the first opportunity for P.T.M. to present its catalogue after the acquisition by Westeel, Canada which occurred a month earlier.

Both PTM and Westeel emphasized that their critical mass will position them among the leading companies offering storage solutions to the Russian market.
