Review of an offer

In such cases, reviews make it possible to keep the code and the content of the initial quotation as well as a different review index so that the quotation process follows a regular pattern from the first original version onward.

Archymede can make reviews of any step of the process, so if, for example, four changes were made of the same quotation, the third one can be processed regardless of the sequence.

To make the document easier to read and to comprehend the review steps, the quotation report quotes the original quotation code.

Copy of a Quotation

This function meets a different requirement than the review because it can generate the precise copy of the original quotation and match it with an independent code.

This is a time-saving function because it is based on the data included in previous quotations that can be applied to a new one, data such as the customer’s name, or a set of similarly made machines and equipments.

In order to understand this important function, let’s take for example the preparation of quotations by the same customer featuring different technical solutions. Every copy is edited by keeping the shared data and modifying only the single configurations of each quotation.

Please, pay attention! Because the entire original quotation is copied, it is necessary to check carefully both the quotation fields filled with the general information and the single items.

Also remember that the function “Copy” included in the cart, means that each item can be copied in full.
