For customers, offers are easier to read if they are split into different sections.
For example, they can be divided in sections:
a) describing the type of machines (i.e. “Chain Conveyors”, or “Bucket Elevators” or “Spouts and Connections”);
b) highlighting the plant lay-out (i.e. “Section for product conveyance”, “Pre-cleaning Section”, “Handling-Silos Section”)
c) describing the work cycles (i.e. “Silos upload”, ore “Drying Line”)
This is where Archymede shows remarkable flexibility.
In Archymede no limit is set to the number of sections of a quotation which the customer is free to determine.
Each “Environment” is supposed to have as many items as possible and to generate a sub-total to be displayed both on the monitor (in the summary part) and on the out print.
Further interesting functions are as follows:
- shift of “Environments” to different positions along with all connected items;
- delete the “Environments”. They will be removed to the “Basket” along with all connected items;
- freeze the “Environments”. Different solutions are generated out of a basic offer. They may be printed on paper or read on the monitor.
More specific functions can be set up within the specific environments in order to deal with:
- shift of items from one environment to the other
- copy items from one environment to the other
- modify the position of items within each environment.
Users can easily process all the above-mentioned operations by using the icons inside the sections “Environment” and “Shopping Chart”.
By using Archymede expert and less skilled users will discover a flexible and simple tool helping them generate tailormade quotations.
